'GO FREE' - (2015)

Format: 35mm (Kodak) / DCP

Director: Paul Surety

Production Company: Surefire Communications

SYNOPSIS:

'Go Free' is a simple story of self-reflection, focusing on an interesting looking woman preparing for the day that awaits ahead of her. Beneath the surface, we begin to wonder what her back-story is.

PRODUCTION:

Where does this young woman come from, and what brought her to London?

This story is a journey told through her voice, her feelings, and emotions. Once she is ready for the day she leaves her flat. She can now ‘go free’ in this free society unlike the trappings of her previous life.

Originated on Kodak Vision 3 - (200T) in the 3-perf 35mm format, the film was shot spherically with Zeiss Super Speed lenses for a final aspect ratio of 1:85:1

Colourist Toby Tomkins (Cheat) graded the film from uncompressed 2K files provided by iDailies (London), who also provided film processing for the production.
