PIXX - 'GRIP'
Format: S16mm (Kodak)
Director: James Slater
This video for Pixx playfully experiments with three-dimensional space, and encompasses a number of dynamic camera movements, whilst implementing a restrained usage of high-speed cinematographic elements. The result is a video which helps communicate a great sense of both space and atmosphere. The project was shot entirely handheld in order for the greatest degree of flexibility in both composition and movement.
Pixx - 'Grip' was originated on Kodak Vision 3 - 500T in the 1:66:1 aspect ratio and shot on the Arri SR3.
Film processing and scanning was provided by Kodak Lab (London).
