YUNGBLUD - 'POLYGRAPH EYES'
Format: S16mm
PRODUCTION:
Following a night-out, a disorientated young woman wonders how she ended up in a stranger’s bed. Via the use of flashbacks, and reverse-narrative technique, we get a clearer picture of the events that led to her current situation.
Yungblud's 'Polygraph Eyes was created in close-collaboration with artist Dominic Harrison and James Slater.
Originated entirely on Kodak Vision 3 - 500T with Zeiss Ultra 16 and Zeiss Ultra Prime lenses, all negative was push-processed two stops for a gritty, high-contrast finish.
In addition, a great deal of footage was shot at 6fps in order to facilitate a 'step-printed' appearance when stretched out over a 25fps timeline.
Film processing and scanning provided by Kodak Lab (London).
